Three separate flexible lines divide the water into: hot water, cold water, and drinking water.
The drinking water path is created via a T-fitting on the cold water line. On this path, the water can be further filtered, refined, or treated as desired before disinfection via integrated UV-C LED Reactor with two 70 mW (140 mW) UV-C LEDs. This ensures maximum hygiene up to a flow rate of 3 L/min. This flow rate can be reduced using the included adjustable valve, thereby increasing the efficiency of the irradiation.
The high-performance UV-C LEDs used by Carawater are NSF-certified and have a lifespan of up to 12,000 hours and over 150,000 switching cycles.
A module integrated into the control board monitors the status of the LEDs and visualizes the operating status via an illuminated ring on the faucet. Blue – OK, Orange – fault.
This ensures years of safe water supply. The DNA of germs, bacteria, and viruses is effectively eliminated, while also protecting against potential recontamination from external sources. The spout can be easily removed and cleaned as needed.
